Fred Perrin is a custom knifemaker, a former French Army Commando and a world-renowned martial artist. His Street Beat fixed-blade knife reflects all these influences. Ground from VG-10 stainless steel, it featues full-tang construction for strength and a deep finger choil halfway along its length. The finger choil not only provides a solid handguard to protect the user’s hand, it also precisely defines the balance point of the knife for deft, responsive handling. The handle is constructed of polished Micarta handle scales that are contoured to fit the hand and double pinned for secure attachment. The full-flat-ground blade provides excellent edge geometry and cutting performance, and an unsharpened swedge on the spine ensures a strong but capable point. The Street Beat includes two lanyard holes–one at the butt end of the handle and one through the blade near the balance point–and comes complete with a black Boltaron (Kydex) sheath with a versatile G-Clip attachment that provides a variety of different carry options.
